Jinjing Solution Low-Iron Glass
Ultra Clear Glass, known as low-iron glass, diamond glass or super clear glass, is a type of high-clarity glass that is made from silica with very low amounts of iron. This low level of iron removes the greenish-blue tint that can be seen especially on larger and thicker sizes of glass. Low-iron glass is used for aquariums, display cases, some windows, and other applications where clarity is desired.
Low-iron glass typically has a ferric oxide content of about 0.01%. Ordinary plate glass has about 10times as much iron content. Low-iron glass is made from low-iron silica sand. In the United States, the primary sources for such sand are in Wisconsin.
Ultra Clear glass provides unprecedented options for both exterior and interior applications in commercial buildings and private homes with stunningly clear because it contains less than 1⁄10 of the iron present in typical clear glass, which means more light shines through. Its luxurious aesthetic will inspire you to find new and creative ways to use it.
Brilliant, clear viewing
Ultra clear glass are designed to maximized transmission of natural light. Offering maximized transparency with 7 percent higher visible light transmittance (VLT) than traditional clear glass.

*Light Transmission - refers to the percentage of external light that passes through the glass, the percentage the more daylight that will pass through. Results may vary between glass suppliers.
Pure color, Substantially reduced green tinge
Ultra clear and provides a higher degree of transparency than clear float glass. This optimum clarity is achieved by removing most of the iron oxide content used to produce glass. The improved clarity of low iron glass compared with clear float glass is barely discernable unless the two types of glass are viewed against a coloured background.
It forms no “greening” of ordinary clear glass, especially when combine uses in IGU or laminated glass.
Jinjing Solution Low-Iron Glass Distinction
Jinjing Ultra Clear Glass is known as high quality low-iron glass in China region, it mostly being specified for landmark projects.
Special formula, Dramatic Edge
Ultra-clear float glass has low absorption and high transmittance to daylight. its color is pure and crystal clear. As its thickness increases, Jinjing Ultra-Clear glass offers a distinctive azure-blue edge, while the transparency of the glass remains ultra-clear, providing a luxurious aesthetic appearance.
Lower spontaneous breakage rate
Ultra-clear float glass also has a lower impurity content. During the extraction of Iron element (Fe) from the float, part of Nickel element (Ni) will be also being extracted as a side effect, this process lowered the content of Nickel in the float compared to traditional clear glass. Lower content of Nickel would lower the chance of Nickel Sulphide (NiS) formation, in terms of minimizing the risk spontaneous breakage.
